So, we have a 2 week old and a 3 year old.  I was wondering when this question was going to come up.  This morning, my 3 year old says, "Mommy, can we take him back?"  I look at him and say, "Take him back where?"  He says, "To the hospital!"

I'd have to say, the 3 year mark comes with some interesting conversation.  They let it all fly.  I love it!

Share!

We also have an infant, and my 2 year old asked me this morning if he could hold the baby.  I was in the middle of feeding the baby, so I told him to wait a few minutes, then he could.  As impatient as 2 year olds are, he quickly asked again.  Again, I told him when the baby was done eating, he could be a big helper and hold him for me.  Apparently my answer wasn't what he was looking for and he said "Share him with me, mommy!!"

I agree sbmom, they say the funniest things!  And don't you just love how all of the rules you set for the kids come back at you?

I have a little guy going on

I have a little guy going on 3 this fall. Yesterday, he was chasing a butterfly and could not quite seem to catch it. He runs over to me and says, "Mommy, he doesn't want to play with me." I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. They are so fun at this age!
