Has anybody been there yet? We would like to take the kids for the day. I know it's got to be EXPENSIVE! If you know the admittance price for ages of kids and adults I'd appreciate it! Maybe a room for the night? Got to be cheaper than going out of town. Kathy

Never Been

I've never been there but here is the website to check it out www.wanawaves.splashuniverse.com.
I have heard it's expensive to stay there but you can go just for the day. $29.95 per person but it looks like they have a good deal going on right now. There's a coupon for a full day pass for $19.95. I was also told the Super 8 is cheaper to stay if you need a place to stay overnight and it's not that bad. Let me know if you go and how you like it. I've been meaning to take my son ever since they opened but never have the money when I have the time. Isn't that how everything goes?

wanna waves

we have been twice and LOVE IT! It is such a family friendly place. Yes it is kinda steep, but... if you do the math it is cheeper to stay over night and go twice. Our room was $159. But for that you get two days in the park. So that alone would run you at least $160 ( four tickets into the park for two days are included and breakfast too. and the breakfast is awesome!) . it is well worth the money. Also lockers are $10 and they are very small. If you stay overnight they let you put your stuff in your room for the day, and then when you check out the second day you can check ur bags behind the desk. Very worth it! We will be returning again and again!

Water Park

My neighbor and I took our kids there last week. It was really great! The kids loved it. There are plenty of life guards and they were cleaning the whole time we were there, so they really keep up the place. We used the coupons for the day pass and got a great deal. We went on Wednesday and got in for $14.95 each for all day. We packed coolers with a picnic lunch and since it was a beautiful day we ate on the grass behind the hotel. We then went back in for more fun. They do have a snack bar, but we were saving money on this trip. You can't bring food inside though. We definately will go again this summer. It is smaller than other indoor water parks, but for a fun treat it was worth it. The coupon is located on the Play page on the website at the bottom.

sign up for their specials

I signed up many months ago for specials by snail mail and received a 75 dollar coupon.

The other indoor water park that is alot of fun is Carribien Cove in Indy. You have to be a hotel guest, the water park is available at 11 am day of check in to the hotel(hotel check in is at 3 I believe) and then you can stay until 2 or 3 the next day (but hotel check out is at 11). I know that CC is really fun for the older kids. I have never been over to shipshy yet.
