Preschool snacks

When your kids were preschool age and they asked for a snack, what kinds of snacks did you give them? We normally do raisins, Teddy Grahms, Gold Fish, Keebler Snack Sticks...mostly cracker type snacks. If I'm getting bored with them, I'm sure he is too! So what kinds of fun things do you give your kids for snack time?

Cereal Snacks
Dry cereal for on the go snacks sometimes, but at home adding Hummus to cracker sticks, pretzels, carrots or celery is a healthy way to add protein and fiber and something fun to dip. If your kid will eat refried beans, they might like hummus since they are both bean based there is a similar flavor & texture. Although my 4 year old who changes what he likes from day to day doesn't eat it as often as my 7 year old does.
Julie
Julie is so good! She introduces some very "non-kid" foods to her kids, and they eat it! I remember he telling me that her oldest ASKED to take a spinach and cheese sandwich to school for lunch! That is great! The problem is, I wouldn't touch hummus or refried beans!! :) But, we do get him to eat different things by giving him veggie dip with it...he loves it! A friend was telling me the other day that she saw this book on the Todays show about how to sneak heathy food into "kid" foods. They used pureed cauliflower as the base for macaroni and cheese, and some others, but I can't remember. I'll have to ask her about it again. It would take some time to do, but I suppose it would be a good way to get kids to eat the things they don't like :)

Book
There are two books that were just published about that, one is by Jessica Seinfeld who is Jerry's wife. It is rumored that she stole ideas from the other woman - don't know her name. But my understanding is that Jessica Seinfeld's book is taking off huge every since she was on Oprah about a month ago and if you go to a bookstore to buy it they will be out but they do have the other book in stock.
I saw that this morning!
That was it...The Sneaky Chef! I also saw the story about Jessica possibly stealing the idea and doing her own book. I will have to look for it! Sounds interesting :) Thanks!

Snacks
Well my kids aren't in preschool yet but I cared for my little sister and I gave her dry things like teddy grahams,Gold Fish trail mixes and things I would mix up myself.
Preschool snacks
My son is in preschool on tuesdays and Thursday and I have brought in snacks a couple times. One time I brought in little peanut butter sandwichs like little triangles with apple slices, a snack mix with like pretzels, goldfish, raisins, cereal, and little m&ms all mixed together, fig newtons, we did little yogarts and graham crackers sticks(dipping). I would love to hear new good ideas.
I guess I should clarify...
I meant snacks to feed preschool age kids at home. But thanks for the thoughts on snacks to send to preschool because we have to do that tomorrow!! :) We are doing granola bars and he just HAD to have Diego gummies to send in too.

opps
That's an opps on my part.
Nah!
The title of my thread does indicate I was asking about snacks for preschool...not preschool-ers :) Thanks!

yogurt
A good snack for kids is the little graham cracker snacks that are like a stick and have them dip it in yogurt.
