OK Ladies,

I'm going to start off this post right away by admitting that I had a BAD week! I'm going to dust of my walking shoes and try again . . . my husband (who's a teacher) is now officially home for the summer and done playing early morning basketball so maybe I'll try to get myself out of bed in the morning and head out for a walk. So my goal for this week . . . exercising 3 TIMES!!!! I'm not even going to worry about the weight loss goal yet, I just want to get EXERCISING!!!! So, how did everyone else do on their first week????

Hanging my head in shame....

I also did bad Monica!  I consumed 1/2 a bag of cheese balls 30 minutes before bed last night!  I keep telling my husband, this is why I try not to even BUY this stuff anymore!  I haven't had any kind of snack before bed in a few weeks, I finally went grocery shopping and BAM...cheese balls before bed.  I also didn't get on the pivot stepper once this week.  Well, I take that back, I did get on it this morning to get Shawn out from behind it :)  But there wasn't any exercising going on!  We bought a Wii this morning, so I'm on a hard hunt for a WiiFit now because it really looks like something I could enjoy doing!  But for now, my goal is to use the pivot stepper 3 times before our next check in.

Pretty good week!

I have actually been really proud of myself! I've made some pretty decent food choices. Over the weekend, there wasn't much time to cook so we ate out almost all weekend. We went to Chick Fil A, Burger King, and Dairy Queen. All I got at each place was a grilled chicken sandwich (no mayo, no fries, or ice cream, and water. We had a carry in at work yesterday with a bunch of junk food and instead I ate my fruit. I have also walked about 4 times 30-45 min each night. I'm not really sure just walking is going to work but its a start. I cleaned out my closet last week and almost cried with all my clothes I have that don't fit me anymore. I'm even embarrssed to go and put on a bathing suit so I'm really going to stick with this "healthier lifestyle" :-)
Jessica, I also have been on the hunt for a Wii Fit, so if you see one, let me know and I'll do the same for you. It's been extremely tough. I've been everywhere in South Bend, Mishawaka, and Elkhart!! But it definatly looks like a lot of fun and a fun way to get in shape:) But for now the regular Wii games will do too :)

Great Start!

I had a really good week. I have been running almost every morning before my husband goes to work, I can't believe I actually have more energy and I am missing out on that extra hour of sleep. I also have a friend who is running with me a few mornings a week and that is a big motivator, knowing that someone is waiting for you at 6am.

I am still eating more junk than I would like to, but I am trying to make good choices when eating out and having snacks. Overall, it was definitely a great start!

fair!

I've done better than I thought with the dr.pepper. I had a nervous breakdown weds. when the kids were barfing all over and both my grandparents are in the hospital and my two yr old and her boytoy scratched his grandma's car all the way around with rocks. I only had two in one sitting but it only took 3 minutes to drink them both. We've been doing laps in the pool and the swim lessons are forcing me up early and doing movements I don't do in the winter. Great job everyone! Tell me everyday caffeine kills!!!!!Lynn

Ok so i have posted how i

Ok so i have posted how i have been doing yet. But yestarday i did horrible. We had donuts at work and they hide them in my office. So i was tempted all day long and then brought the left overs home. I then had subway sandsich for dinner last night early but did some really physical work (power washing a deck) last night and eating another again last night. Although I have had several people on being my doctor comment that it appears that i have lost weight. The last time i weighed myself this week I had lost 4.5 pounds.
