**growing up we've always had real trees, last year was my first year away from home and I did artificial and missed the real tree smell and feeling so this year we went back to real trees, its just a tradition :)

baby alive!
I just read your post and saw your favorite Christmas present as a child was Baby Alive!! That definatly brought back some good memories!! :) I'm not sure when you grew up, I was an 80's baby but I sure liked the baby alive so much better then than now!! :)

I was born in the 80's too and I loved my Baby Alive, my mom even took me to Goodwill every once in a while to buy clothes for it. She was my precious baby for almost two years lol!
Anyway when I found out that Baby Alive's were back on the market I was sooooooo excited to buy one for my daughter...come to find out they are very ugly and they suck, needless to say I tried her on one of the cheapy ones (like the sip and slurp or something like that) she wasn't interested and I see why.
I wish I still had my Baby alive from years ago to pass down...ahhhh the memories (lol).
I'm glad you replied to that, it allowed me to vent about how technology can ruin some things:)

we bought the baby alive for my middle daughter and yes she did suck so badly, my youngest bit her nose completely off. Gross-huh. Lynn

I wish I would have saved a lot of my toys from my childhood, the quality seemed so much better than it is now! Sometimes when I go garage sailing, I see the same toys I had growing up and I cant help but buy it for my younger nieces :)
