Cookie Exchange Party
I saw another person put something on here about in home/catalog parties. I have always wanted to do a cookie exchange party! I read about them a few years ago but the people in my family don't bake and were not really interested in it. SO! I thought I would bring it to the people here! I want to do a cookie exchange party where anyone will be invited. The rules are: First you have FUN! Don't over due it. Second, you bring a couple dozen of the same kind of cookie along with the recipe written down to share with everyone! Lastly.... You take home more cookies than you came with but just all different kinds. I want to do this closer to Christmas time so you have many different kinds of cookies to share with family and friends. I would supply the drinks for everyone and the place to do it. Let me know if this sounds like something you would like to be involved. I want to talk with my church to see if we can have it there. E-Mail me if you like. JLOCHTEFELD@COMCAST.NET - Joni

Cookie Exchange
I would love to do this! I have tried it in the past, but for whatever reason, I was never able to attend. It would be neat to meet new people and get new cookies!
Yes!
I remember you posting about this a while back. Count me in, I love to bake and am always looking for new cookie recipes...it would be a nice setting to meet and greet moms on here.
Cookies
This sounds great! Keep us posted on when and where! I love to bake but hate when I eat all the cookies myself lol! So I would love to bring them to share!
sounds fun!
I have always wanted to do this too. I am enjoying reading all that moms post on here and it would be soooo nice to put a face with all the funny stories we share!
GREAT!
Yes, I have posted this before on here. Now the time is getting closer and I thought it was time to reconnect and see how many people wish to do it. I know the holidays can get very busy so I need to start on things now.
I have e-mailed the person I need to e-mail at my church and I have also been contacted by someone else who is hosting one at their church. I am waiting to see if we can do it at my church (Bigger setting than my living room for sure and hopefully it will make everyone feel comfortable to attend). My goal is to have 50 people to show up. I think that is a realistic goal. If each person brings 2 dozen cookies to share that is 1,200 cookies! Think of all the different cookies that you can try out! If only 20 people on here show up and bring one friend that is still 40 people to show up! I will let you know more details as I work them out. I am so excited to do this. If no one can tell I love "hosting" events. And I have been wanting to do this for a long time and finally I can. It should a fun time for everyone! Thanks for your interest!
If I cannot get my church the woman who contacted me has their set up for Dec 9th (it's a Tuesday). See keep that date open too!
I would love to participate,
I would love to participate, but my daughter has her First Reconciliation at church that night.
If the date changes, let me know.

Cookie Exchange
The date listed above is for a local church that is hosting it. I am hoping to be able to help them with theirs and attend theirs but I am hoping to host one at my church as well on a Saturday. I thought it might be a little easier on a Saturday or Sunday. As soon as I have more information I will put it on here.
Cookie Exchange
We used to do this at my job every year. The first few years were good but then every year the cookies started getting worse and worse. Unfortunately, we won't be doing it this year:( Just some advice, make sure your cookies are actually worth exchanging...
Have fun girls!
Biggest Fear
That is one of my biggest fears! That the cookies will taste awful or we will get so many of the same kinds of cookies. I know how to take care of the problem with the same kinds of cookies. I am going to have everyone tell me what they are bringing so we make sure we have a variety coming. The cookies tasty bad... OH that I can only pray for.
